gerrys adventure

hi everyone. it's day two of my road trip down to the mayo clinic. yesterday was uneventful other than missing one rest stop. sandy swears that passing it by was an "accident" but i think he lied, so i gave him dirty looks until the next. the hotel gave me the best present in the world, a six foot mirror that made me look six foot tall and forty pounds thinner. we tried to steal it but it was bolted to the wall, no doubt because every woman who stayed in that room tried to take it home.

today was more eventful, we woke up to temps. of 160 degrees. (okay, i lie, but it sure felt like it.) couldn't eat breakfast because of the heat which may be a first. we tried getting food at three other places but something went wrong at each. do you think it was gods message that i could look like i did in the magic mirror if i stopped eating, of course minus the six feet tall part. well never mind. anyway we are in south carolina and tomorrow will be in jacksonville.
